Do I need to download an app?
No. ChromaHunt runs in your phone's browser, no downloads or accounts. Open it, add the players, and start playing.
ChromaHunt frequently asked questions
How many players can play at once?
Between 1 and 10 in the same game, all sharing the same device, taking turns.
Are my photos stored on a server anywhere?
No. Everything — players, colours, photos and votes — is stored only on your device. There's no backend or account to sync anything with.
Can I play without an internet connection?
Yes, once the page has loaded once, ChromaHunt works fully offline.
What happens if two players tie on the podium?
They share the position: if two players tie for first, the podium shows two first places and the next player goes straight to third.
Can I change my colour mid-game?
Yes, you can spin again whenever you like; the new colour replaces the old one, so your collage for that colour starts from scratch.
What are the metallic colours?
Gold and silver are the two special colours in hard difficulty and custom mode, with a gradient finish instead of a solid colour.
Can I add my own colours?
Yes — in custom mode you can uncheck any of the fourteen colours and add your own with a native colour picker and any name you like.
How do I reset the game?
From the players panel, in the danger zone. Before deleting anything it offers to download every collage, and asks for a second tap to confirm so nothing gets wiped by accident.
Can I share my collage outside the app?
Yes, every collage can be downloaded as an image or shared straight from your phone, with different text depending on which colour you got.
